Survival is a gamemode available in Slendytubbies III. It is inspired by the game Killing Floor and share similar characteristics on the waves, the behaviour of the enemies and the boss in the end.

Description[]

This mode can either be chosen to be played in Singleplayer or Multiplayer. The latter allows more players to work together to fight against enemies, but will increase the number of enemies and the health of bosses and mini-bosses.

When spawning, either after dying, joining a survival game, or starting a survival game, the player will start with 200 Tubby Toasts, a XIX pistol, and a knife. If the player dies in a wave, they will reappear after the wave ends, but without all the weapons and Tubby Toasts they once had. If all the players die in one round, the game is over.

At the start of each wave, a “Drop Zone” will be randomly located at different locations on the map. At the end of each waves, a Supply Helicopter ― or a Supply Box in indoor or cramped maps ― will be available on the “Drop Zone”. There, the player can buy or sell Weapons, regenerate health, and purchase ammunition, all with Tubby Toasts earned by shooting enemies.

Furthermore, several difficulties may be chosen from Update V1.21. Since V1.27, there are four difficulties to select; Easy, Normal, Difficult and Impossible. The only difference between modes are the sums of damage that are inflicted by all enemies. They are doubled for each difficulty such that all enemies can kill the player in one shot on the Impossible difficulty.

Waves[]

Note: The amount of enemies that appear in the wave depend on the amount of players in the game, increasing by about 66% per extra player, up to a total of an additional 200%. The value used here is the amount of enemies with a single player. Additionally, mini-bosses and bosses gain more health when more players are alive when they spawn.

Trivia[]

  • The time at which the player is damaged during regular enemy attacks is apparently random. This may render it impossible to avoid an enemy attack once it occurs.
    • This also makes melee attacks unreliable against enemies that take more than one hit to kill, while some bosses are very reliable to kill with melee attacks.
    • However, mini-boss attacks aren’t completely consistent in this way either. This is most noticeable with the Scorpion Newborn.
  • The original tracks used for each waves can be found here.
  • There may be an Easter egg from the helicopter driver, which the teletubbie driver driving is the model of the guardian of Slendytubbies 2
